About Snip Your URL
Snip Your URL is a free tool for shortening long links and creating custom-designed QR codes. It was built in India for anyone who needs a clean, short link without signing up for an account.
What you can do here
- Turn a long URL into a short link, with an optional custom alias such as snipyoururl.com/diwali-sale.
- Create QR codes with your own colors, patterns, and gradients, and download them as images.
- Use everything without an account, an email address, or a payment.
Why we built it
Many link tools limit free users to a handful of links or hide basic features behind a paid plan. We wanted a simple tool that stays free and does not ask for personal details.
Keeping links safe
We do not allow short links to be used for phishing, malware, scams, or illegal content. Anyone can report a link on our Report Abuse page and we review reports and disable harmful links.
How the site is funded
The service is free to use. To cover running costs, we show advertising served by Google AdSense. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work.
